South Houston Municipal Court is a gray, brick, single-story building. It has parking on site, and there is an accessible ramp. There is a sign that identifies the court on the front of the building.

The court is a standalone building separate from City Hall. South Houston City Hall is across the street next to South Houston City Park. Memorial Park is in the same block as well as the South Houston Fire Department. The South Houston Police Department is on the other side of Virginia Avenue.
