Judge Gary D. Janssen

Judge Gary D. Janssen was first elected as a Justice of the Peace in 2009. Before being elected as Judge for Precinct 4, he was a municipal and associate judge along with keeping a private law practice for 20 years. He is a graduate of the University of Houston and South Texas College of Law Houston. Judge Janssen is a native of Houston. He serves as a mentor to other judges.

There are five Justice of the Peace courts in Fort Bend County. They are divided into four precincts. Precinct 4 is located across from the Fort Bend County Justice Center Office. It is a red, brick office building. The building is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available street level outside the building.

Fort Bend County Justice of the Peace – Precinct 4 is located off Richmond Parkway off US Route 90 Alternate. There are several government buildings in the area, and it is not in the same building as the Fort Bend County Justice Center. It is a separate building behind the large justice center.
