The court shares a building with the Texas Department of Public Safety, and there are other criminal justice buildings nearby. The Montgomery County Jail is down the street. There is parking available on site.

Precinct 2 encompasses central Montgomery County including Conroe, Beach, Wigginsville, Four Corners, Youens, and Cut and Shoot.

Arraignments are held once a month. An arraignment is not a trial. It is a preliminary hearing to read the charges and discuss further proceedings.
